In her work, she considers herself something of a craftsperson, raising her game by paying equal attention to the process as to the finished product. Ms Mgandela studied Clinical Technology at the Durban Institute of Technology, then went on to undergo further training in Reproductive Biology at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria. She has honed her skills working at several private clinics around South Africa over the past decade. Always a team player, she is passionate about making a difference, and helping couples who cannot conceive. A consummate professional, she balances her care for the egg donor with ensuring the best chance of success for recipients undergoing treatment. Ms Ramoeng takes time to get to know each individual donor, helping ensure each experience is comfortable and memorable, and that donors are supported at every stage of the process. After completing her BSc in Dietetics at Stellenbosch University in 2009, Ms Innes did her community service year at a hospital in the Eastern Cape. She holds a Masters degree in Nutrition and is a member of the Association for Dietetics in South Africa. She moved back to Cape Town at the end of 2015 and has since been working in private practice. Her aim is to provide a safe and confidential counselling space to help manage these difficulties. She has also supervised and lectured tertiary-level students, and facilitated wellness programmes in the primary healthcare setting, working with both individuals and large groups. She now works at a school and in private practice. Ms Freed has the skill and expertise to help guide people encountering fertility challenges to make the required complex decisions and choices at various stages of the treatment process. She also conducts psychological evaluations of potential egg and sperm donors in terms of emotional and psychological suitability, and their ability to fulfil all the relevant requirements of the process. She fully understands the complexity of the human reproductive system, and the myriad influences that can negatively affect its normal functioning. She uses a combination of acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Therapy to optimise treatment outcomes. A registered Doctor of TCM Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture , Ms Beyers has been a Natural Health practitioner for more than 15 years, and holds degrees in both Natural Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Globally, acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Therapy have gained popularity and acknowledgement for their positive effect on reproductive function. After completing her undergraduate degree at Stellenbosch University, Ms Laing completed her postgraduate studies in the Division of Human Genetics at the University of Cape Town. She completed her Masters in Genetic Counselling in 2011, and spent the following two years completing her internship working at general genetic clinics, pregnancy counselling clinics, as well as conducting retinal degeneration and cardiac research. She currently works part-time in the Division of Human Genetics in the Department of Medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital. She assists infertility patients who may want to consider testing in respect of future pregnancies, or before conception via IVF. She can discuss options in-depth with individuals or couples.
